ORACLE Communications

Oracle (formerly Acme Packet) offers a family of session border controllers, session routing proxies, and network monitoring solutions that enable the delivery of trusted, interactive real-time communications—voice, video and multimedia sessions—and data services across IP network borders. 

Session Border Controllers - Oracle's SBC family of products supports multiple applications in service provider, enterprise, government and contact center networks—from VoIP trunking to hosted enterprise and residential services to fixed-mobile convergence. They satisfy critical security, service assurance and regulatory requirements in wireline, cable and wireless networks; and support multiple protocols—SIP, H.323, MGCP/NCS, H.248 and RTSP—and multiple border points—service provider access and interconnect, and enterprise access and trunking.  Oracle offers both hardware-based and virtual solutions with flexible licensing to meet your everchanging needs.

Session Routing Proxies - Oracle Communications Session Router, deployed in the Core/Service & Edge POPs, is in charge of routing session signaling traffic across the various building blocks at the different network layers.  The Oracle Enterprise Communications Broker is a core communications controller purpose-built to simplify complex, multi-vendor Unified Communications (UC) networks and extend services to mobile users. It abstracts key communications services and centralizes session management, providing a vendor-neutral infrastructure for delivery of next generation UC applications. 

Network Monitoring - As a proactive call monitoring solution, Oracle Communications Operations Monitor (OCOM) captures and analyzes all required signaling messages and media from the network, providing full correlation and quality metrics in real time. It
also enables easy-to-use, drill-down troubleshooting for root-cause analysis of any reported problem related to a user, user group, trunk, network device,or Internet Protocol (IP) address.
