Hyannis, MA, USA and Moscow, Russia - Solincom, Inc., and Eastwind Communications announced today that they have joined forces to provide more comprehensive solutions and support services for the rapidly expanding competitive telecom carrier market in Eastern Europe.  By combining their product offerings and support teams, the two companies can better serve their carrier customers in terms of a more complete product portfolio as well as improved support capabilities.  This cooperation is part of a larger partnering agreement in which the 2 companies jointly market, sell, and provide technical support for their product lines in North America and throughout Europe.
 
Providers will now have access to a broad portfolio of value-added solutions for high-margin video and voice services.  The combined forces offer complete TDM and VoIP solutions to a significant customer base, including both fixed line and mobility service providers ranging from Tier 1s to start-ups.  The joint effort is also well-positioned to offer an array of hosted services to service providers who prefer to keep their expenses as variable costs that are part of their operational expenses rather than incurring significant costs for both new hardware and software as well as for capable support and training staff.
